Nature is not merely my subject—it is my collaborator, my challenger, and my sanctuary. Each painting is a dialogue between the wildness of the world and the quiet, searching spaces within myself. I am drawn to the places where light fractures and reforms, where silence is alive with unseen movement, and where the familiar landscape becomes a threshold to something unknown. My art seeks to capture not just a scene, but a sensation: the hush before a storm, the ache of twilight, the pulse of life beneath still waters. These moments are invitations to pause, to feel, to remember that we are part of something vast and mysterious. Through color, texture, and form, I explore the liminal spaces between presence and absence, memory and anticipation, the seen and the felt. I paint because nature reminds me that beauty is fleeting and profound, that every moment is layered with meaning if we are willing to look. I hope each work offers viewers a place to wander, to wonder, and perhaps to find themselves reflected in the wild heart of the world.

I create sculptural paintings using a technique I developed called 'sculpting with paint.' Each work is made entirely of acrylic—layered, shaped, and detailed to form intricate, dimensional reliefs. Starting with a blank canvas, I apply paint with a palette knife to build the background, then use heavy-body acrylic and a pastry bag to form finely detailed textures and sculptural elements. Inspired by nature and the animal kingdom, my work reflects a deep respect for organic form and microscopic detail. Every surface—what is seen and unseen—is 100% paint. These pieces take thousands of hours to complete and are meant to be experienced in person, where the depth and texture fully come to life.
